Scrub N Mud
Scrub and Mud Body Wrap
This treatment will leave your skin happier and healthier. We start off with a dry brush over the entire body to slough off dead skin and stimulate circulation. Then we apply turbinado sugar to further remove dead skin and soften it as well. Next, a mud masque is applied to the entire body. This is a very effective anti-oxidant and anti-aging formulation! This blend purges toxins, leaving the skin soft and re-mineralized with a noticeable glow. Vitamin E, Grape Seed, Bladder wrack (seaweed), Irish Moss, Sage Essential Oils are infused into Sedona Clay and French Red Clays, rich in magnesium, Vitamins A, B, B12, E, Iron and amino acids. Once that step is complete, the next thing is wrapping you up and performing a face/scalp massage as the mud does its job. We then use several hot towels to remove the mud and sugar. As an added bonus, you get to keep the dry brush for home use.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for the average person or the highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.
There is no additional charge.
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which we bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
Therapists of Massage 101 provide free mini chair massage sessions at the front of all of our locations as time permits.
We are also available for corporate events and wellness programs. Call for pricing.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Hot Stone Therapy
Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.
Meagen, Doug, Krystal, and Kaitlyn are the only therapists able to use the hot stones.
If you are wanting to experience a whole body stone treatment, called "Massage on the Rocks" it is only $10 more and nearly 100 stones get used.
Meagen normally uses hot and/or cold stones for roughly 5-10 minutes at no charge.
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.
There is no additional charge for this form of therapy at the time.
Massage Cupping bodywork is a pleasant and gentle, non-invasive technique that achieves poweful results in cellulite reduction, pain reduction, joint mobilization, detoxofication, pre- and post- operative therapy to shorten recovery time and enhance surgical results, athletic performance enhancement, and so much more. It waked the body up and makes it feel invigorated, at the same time producing a profound level of healing through nervous system sedation. It works deeper by loosening adhesions, allowing the muscles to operate more independently and stimulate healthy elimination of debris in the tissues, organs and systems.
Massage Cupping is currently offered only by Meagen and Doug. For more information and pricing, feel free to contact either therapist.
Feed your love of fruit or vegetables with this treatment. It not only prepares your skin for the changing seasons, it also removes layers of dead skin, revealing soft, rejuvenated skin. It combines the detoxifying effects of the fruit/veggie and softening effect of the sugar scrub leaving the skin with a glowing, softer texture. While you are busy wrapped up, a relaxing foot, face, and scalp massage will be provided. To top it all off is a massage soufflé cream applied once the wrap is removed.

This wonderful escape can be yours for only $10 more.

Exfoliating Massage Treats
These great scrubs help remove dry skin to reveal a smoother, softer you. You get your choice of sugar, salt, or coffee. Sugar is very moisturizing and can be used on any part of the body and is not very abrasive. Salt is more abrasive than sugar and can help with those super dry areas such as the feet. Coffee is the most abrasive and is great for the coffee lover as this scrub leaves a lingering scent of a fresh cup of coffee. Followed by each scrub is hot towels and a moisturizing massage. All of these scrubs feel great and leave the skin feeling like new. Whether you get a spot treat on the hands, feet, or back, or even the whole body, your skin will thank you. You get to choose how long you would like the scrub treatment to last included with your massage session:
5 minutes for just $5 more. Perfect for a quick fix on the feet, hands, or back.
15 minutes for $15 more. Good choice if an area is in need of extra exfoliating.

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It's also called Thai Yoga massage, because I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.
